Video of the Week #46 June 6th, 2012:
From: The Venus Movies by Caleb A. Scharf at Life, Unbounded.
Source: NASA.
NASA?s SDO (Solar Dynamics Observatory) captured incredible footage of the Transit of Venus (now that?s out of the way for another 120 years or so) in several different formats. The videos were originally released individually as shared in Caleb?s post, The Venus Movies, but are even more resplendent in this beautiful montage, with appropriately majestic music for this rare event.
Also see all the coverage of the Transit of Venus at Scientific American.
